Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American book author, and has received Emmy award. Ina Garden hosts the oldest Food Network series, Barefoot Contessa. It premiered in 2002. It will continue to run for another 27 seasons. Ina started out writing nuclear energy policy documents and budgets to the White House. She initially loved being stimulated by the intellectual aspect of the job, but then was bored. She instead bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant. It was a huge success for over 18 years, until she opted to let it go. She then began her first cookbook. Several other books and journal articles followed. While she was at it she also had her own Food Network show was also a success. Her products range from kitchen equipment and cooking materials to storage containers. Ina is a self-taught cook who has never attended the cooking school nor had a job in the kitchen. Ina is known for her straightforward approach to cooking and effortless take on entertainment. She is well-known for her quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet Baked Lemon Chicken Macaroni and Cheese that includes Beef Bourguignon and Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
